A Weekend of Connection: 42 Alumni Ambassadors in Lisbon ☀️🇵🇹

In early March, some of the most active 42 Alumni Ambassadors gathered in Lisbon for a well-earned reunion under the Portuguese sun.

The idea was simple: bring together Alumni Ambassadors from different campuses and countries, give them the chance to connect IRL, reflect on the past year and what’s ahead, and take a break after months of community involvement. As a thank you, 42 covered the full weekend — hotel, activities, and shared experiences.

The group visited the 42 Lisboa campus, meeting with local students and posing in the legendary Piscine. The rest of the weekend combined cultural discovery with shared experiences: learning to bake pastéis de nata (the quintessential Portuguese custard tart), exploring the city with a local guide, and savoring traditional Portuguese cuisine to the sounds of live Fado.

Most of the participants had only just met, but the connection was immediate. Coming from campuses like Paris, Lyon, 1337 (Morocco), and Codam (Amsterdam), they quickly found common ground — a reminder that the 42 spirit extends far beyond campus and naturally brings people together.
